Bradley Beal is well known throughout NBA as the best scorers on the market. The former scoring champion has been a key part of the offensive squad in Washington but the team has failed to have a roster that would support the player ever since John Wall got injured in 2018-19. After Wall’s injury, the Wizards have qualified for just one playoffs last season with Russell Westbrook’s monstrous efforts in the latter half of the season.
Now Washington runs the risk of losing Beal to their rivals as the player is ready to test free agency in June 2023. Currently, the player has entered his final contract with the Wizards and would wait till the end of the season to renew the contract or become a free agent. In 2023 he would be due for a huge 4-year $242 million extension while a free agency could fetch him a contract of around $179 million over four years.
