Brooklyn Nets took the lead leaving Bucks behind

Kevin Durant scored 29 points as the Brooklyn Nets beat the Milwaukee Bucks 115-107 in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals in New York, despite the first-minute injury to James Harden. Harden might not be able to come into action in Game 2, as his right hamstring is injured. Game 2 has been scheduled for June 8, 2021.

Kyrie Irving added 25 points and eight assists for the Nets, who shot 46.9 percent and had enough scoring to make up for Harden's absence. Joe Harris had 19 points and five of Brooklyn's 15 three-point attempts. Blake Griffin had 18 points, 14 rebounds, and four three-pointers, tying a playoff career-high. Mike James chipped in with 12 points and seven rebounds. Brooklyn clinched the win by a final score of 115-107.
