Bucks ends their 50-year wait to lift the first NBA championship trophy

Milwaukee Bucks’ star Giannis Antetokounmpo helped them to the most crucial win of the season after being slumped to a 2-0 defeat early in the series against Pheonix Suns. The 26-year-old kept his promise of winning the NBA championship trophy one day and has successfully ended a 50 years wait for Bucks’ win for their first NBA finals win. After enjoying a 3-2 lead in the series Bucks headed confidently to Game 6 of the NBA Finals against Suns and walked out with a 105-98 win in front of 17,000 fans at Fiserv Forum The two time MVP dropped 50 points along with 14 rebounds and delivered their second championship win after 1971.

The 26-year-old has joined the exclusive list of just seven players now who scored 50 points in an NBA finals game. The nail-biting final match was drawn at 77-77 in the final quarter and Antetokounmpo went on a rampage later to deny Suns a chance to force a decider match.
