Starting point guard of the Chicago Bulls Lonzo Ball might miss out on the team's training camp and the commencement of the 2022-23 NBA regular season due to a left kneww surgery. Ball had to go through the injury in January and had been operated later in that month before being absent throughout the rest of the 2021-22 season. It is being said that he is still feeling recurring pain and discomfort whenever he attempts to participate in basketball activities. After spending a rehab summer in Los Angeles, Ball will return to Chicago next week for the Bulls to re-assess his situation.
Danilo Gallinari is undergoing a similar situation. When the Celtics signed Gallinari during the offseason, they wished for a remedy to their lack of bench depth with his scoring capability. Though he will try to bounce back stronger during the 2022-23 season, they'll still face his absence for at least half of the regular season.
