Luke Walton joins Cleveland Cavaliers as their new assistant coach. He has spent the past five-plus seasons as head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings. Walton has a fine experience in playing and coaching and will be an amazing part of the Cavaliers franchise.
The president of basketball operations Koby Altman said that they are very excited to add someone like Luke to their coaching staff. He further added that Luke has an on-court experience as a head coach, assistant coach, and player in this league and he is a seamless fit for J.B's current coaching staff. Cavs had a good season this year under J. B. Bickerstaff, they even bagged a play-in appearance in the conference before ultimately losing to Atalanta Hawks and marking an end to the current season.
