Cleveland Cavaliers have time and again depended on Ricky Rubio to turn things around on the floor but for the rest of the season Cavs would not be able to depend on Rubio. The 31-year-old tore his ACL in his left knee while playing against New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday and would sit out for the rest of the season. Rubio was a dependable sixth man for the side and has over the season contributed a lot to the scoreboard while coming off the bench.
This season he has averaged 13.1 points and 6.6 assists per game. Cavs might add another veteran guard on the roster to backup Darius Garland as currently, the team has two substitutes Denzel Valentine and Pangos but both of them are not preferred by Cavs coach J.B. Bickerstaff.
