Cavaliers lost Dylan Windler to injury in season opener

Rookie Dylan Windler broke his left hand in the Cavaliers season opener with Charlotte Hornets, his run for this season is halted already and he could not even finish the whole set. He was diagnosed with a fourth metacarpal fracture because of a fall in the third quarter. Windler had already been left out of last season because of a lower leg stress fracture and now even he will be out of play for a while with no set date of return.

The 6-foot-6 shooter was Cleveland’s No. 26 pick in 2019. He was going for a basket in the third quarter when Charlotte's Gordon Hayward crashed into him in an attempt to stop him from scoring looking at the crash centre Javale McGee ducked to save himself but say Windler go down after putting in just 9 minutes on the score and three points in the net.
