Chicago Bulls forward Lauri Markkanen entered free agency not too long ago after he posted one of career’s worst season with Bulls. He averageded 13.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game last season while his score declined he still hit his career-high in terms of shooting percentage and 3-point percentage with 48.0 and 40.2 respectively.
The shooter was sidelined last season after Bulls added DeMar DeRozan and Lonzo Ball to the roster and later resigned Zach LaVine as well leaving no choice but to leave. Despite the embarrassing season Finnish forward has caught the eye of Celtics, Dallas, New Orleans, and Minnesota. Markkanen is being valued at $15 million in average annual value, for Celtics if they pursue that could bind them in terms of the salary cap, and they need the space to make a move for top tier players next summer.
