Charlotte Hornets enjoyed a 102-99 victory over Detroit Pistons

Hornets found a 102-99 win over Detroit Pistons with LaMelo Ball leading the team with 23 points on Tuesday. Charlotte improved their record to 32-33 and have 1.5 games lead over Indiana Pacers and are eighth in the Eastern Conference playoff race. For Charlotte, Terry Rozier scored 18 points and Caleb Martin added in 17 points while Detroit had Hamidou Diallo on a career-high 35 points and Sekou Doumbouya also scored a season-high 20 points, Pistons are 19-47 in the season.

Pistons have not been doing well this season and were handed a fourth straight loss and have even lost seven of their eight matches. They currently have one of the worst records in the East. Detroit missed out on many opportunities during the match, they could not force a tie even when they had the opportunity to do it while Hornets took advantage of it and cruised ahead.
