The Bulls guard Zach LaVine is having a career year this season but is plagued by a knee injury that has crept up on him and hurt his chances of posting numbers consistently. Bulls' All-Star is travelling to Los Angeles to meet with an expert to gain an assessment on his knee.
Even with the injury, LaVine is taking an interest in the All-Star Game in Cleveland next Sunday. The player has missed three of the Bulls' last six games including the Oklahoma City Thunder clash last Thursday. LaVine was last actively posting numbers in the Portland Trail Blazers match where he scored 20 points in a 130-116 win. This season he has participated in 47 games already averaging 24.6 points per game with 4.9 rebounds and 4.5 assists. Bulls are doing well this season with a 36-21 record as they sit one place away from leaders Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference standings.
