Veteran point guard, Chris Paul will return to the starting five soon after getting the all-clear for the health and safety protocols. Phoenix Suns’ player has missed the first two matches of the Western Conference Finals with Clippers but the wait might be over as he is ready to return to Game 3 of the series. Paul had previously missed just two matches in the regular season due to injury, later the shoulder injury sidelined him during the playoffs as well.
Paul was forced to be sidelined this time because he tested positive for COVID-19 but after serving his time in the quarantine the point guard would jump back into action soon. Phoenix currently enjoys a 2-0 series lead against Clippers with DeAndre Ayton leading the Suns to a win with a buzzer-beating dunk in Game 2. Without Chris Paul Suns have relied on Cameron Payne, who is averaging 20.0 points and 9.0 assists per game in the series.
