Clippers beat Pistons to record their fifth straight win

Marcus Morris Sr. scored 33 points, a number higher than Paul George who was at 32 for the night as the Los Angeles Clippers ended their 9 match homestand with a 131-124 win against Detroit Pistons. This was George’s third back-to-back game with 30 points above score despite a toe injury.

Clippers enjoy their current highest five-match winning streak. LA was missing Kawhi Leonard for the night and every team member upped their game to make up for the missing star, at the end of the night seven players were in double figures and helped end the homestand with 7-2. For Pistons, Josh Jackson had 26 points and Saddiq Bey scored 25 points but they still could not match Clippers and lost their third match of four outings.
