Los Angeles Clippers guard Bradley Beal is expected to miss multiple games with a left hip injury and is scheduled to undergo imaging to determine the severity of the issue. The injury is believed to have happened during a loss to the Phoenix Suns.
The 32-year-old, in his first season in Los Angeles, has averaged career lows of 8.2 points and 1.7 rebounds over six games. Throughout his 14-year NBA career with the Washington Wizards, Phoenix Suns, and Clippers, Beal has averaged 21.4 points and 4.3 assists.
Despite playing in the subsequent game against the Suns and scoring a season-high 12 points, the injury has sidelined him. Coach Tyronn Lue has chosen forward John Collins to replace Beal in the starting lineup, citing the team's struggles with rebounding and the need for more size.
