Shorthanded Timberwolves almost had a win on their hands as they faced Dallas on the other side but let the game get away from them and end their four-match winning streak with it as well. Dallas won by 114-102 even when Minnesota had the likes of Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell on the court.
Dallas on the other hand were without the likes of Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis, and Tim Hardaway Jr. along with others and still had enough firework in their arsenal as they closed the match in their favor. Russell shot just 4 for 18 from the field while Towns contributed 26 points with 14 rebounds and 7 assists but shot 14 from the field as Timberwolves pushed their tally to 15-16.
