Damian Lillard’s 36 helped Blazers to a 101-93 win over Pelicans

Damian Lillard scored 36 points, 21 in the opening quarter alone, and the Portland Trail Blazers won the second of back-to-back games against the New Orleans Pelicans 101-93 on Thursday night. This was the second back-to-back win for Portland over Pelicans, earlier they had recorded a 125-124 win on Thursday itself.

Zion Williamson had 26 points with 10 rebounds as the player posted his 10th double-double of the current season but could not help New Orleans and they were up by 17 points as well in the fourth quarter but could not hold on to their lead for long with Lillard working his magic on the floor. Portland is in good form currently having won six of their last eight matches. Pelicans would now try to make a comeback against Denver while the Blazers would look to continue on their winning streak against Dallas.
