Dennis Schroder and PJ Tucker were pulled from Game 5 of Oklahoma City Thunder-Houston Rockets series on Saturday due to a disciplinary issue. Schroder had aggressively blocked Tucker by nailing him in the groin in the third quarter, aggravated by this move Tucker had responded with a headbutt.
Both the players have to pay a penalty of $25,000, thankfully no suspension was announced by NBA.
It seemed Rocket players were frustrated by this move of Thunder, as the same trick was pulled by the Rocket team when Chris Paul had hit Ben McLemore during Game 3 in the past.
Rockets still were able to win the game by 114-80 and lead the series by 3-2.
