Saddiq Bey played a major part in Piston's 134-120 win over the Magic. He might not have thought of scoring his career-best in Orlando at the beginning of the, but at the end of the game, he scored his career-best 51-points against Orlando Magic.
Bey scored 21 points in the first quarter. Bey continued the momentum and scored 30 points and made six three-pointers in a half and became the second Pistons player in the last 25 seasons to do so. By the end of the game, Saddiq scored a career-high 51 points.
“He was white-hot, so it was great to see him have a night like that. It’s something that he’ll always remember as an NBA player,” coach Dwane Casey said. “To have an individual performance like Saddiq had is unbelievable. It’s great for the young man, a second-year player; it’s beautiful to see.”
