The rookie point guard Killian Hayes was diagnosed with a torn labrum in his hip which he suffered during his side’s match with Milwaukee. His season this year might have ended early because of the injury. At first, his move seemed like a normal event until there was a pop. His Rookie campaign comes to a halt as his training under former league MVP Derrick Rose ends here. Rose will be traded soon as soon as the next NBA offseason begins.
Hayes is a great defender one Pistons need desperately and even faced the greats Steph Curry, D’Angelo Russell, Trae Young, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart during his season and was developing the skills. The 19-year old’s offensive side remained weak with 4.6 points per game and shooting 27.7% from the field but his passing ability and other skills almost make up for it with 3.6 average assists per night.
