Draymond Green becomes the latest casualty for the Warriors

NBA stars are dropping like flies, and last night, Draymond Green joined Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler on the sidelines. The Golden State All-Star injured his right foot during the second quarter against the Sixers and did not return.

Speaking to ESPN, Green compared the pain to the sprain he suffered last week against the Blazers, occurring when Donovan Clingan landed on him. Although he left the arena wearing a protective boot, Green insisted he expects to play through the discomfort. However, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr expressed significantly more caution regarding the situation. While admitting he lacked precise details about his defensive leader’s specific injury, Kerr emphasized that the medical staff would remain extremely prudent.

This approach is particularly crucial if Green has indeed aggravated his previous sprain during what appeared to be a harmless play, forcing the team to now proceed very carefully with their current depleted roster.
