Brooklyn Nets’ Kevin Durant did not leave a stone unturned as he exploded on Sunday against Detroit Pistons dishing out season-high 51 points along with nine assists. Brooklyn Nets pummeled Detroit Pistons 116-104 as the 11-time all-star went on to post the seventh 50-point game of his career. Durant rose to the occasion as the side was without MVP James Harden and power forward Paul Millsap for the night, while Kyrie Irving has not played a single game this season after he refused to get vaccinated against coronavirus.
The Eastern Conference bottom dwellers saw Cade Cunningham post 26 points and Frank Jackson had 25 points and Saben Lee chipped in with 17 points. Nets enjoyed a great fourth quarter where they held back Pistons to just 13 points while they went on to add 30 points to their total.
