FIBA 3x3 Olympic Qualifying Tournament

Six Olympic tickets for Tokyo are up for grabs in the OQT in Graz which will take place from 26th May to 30th May and the final two spots will be awarded at the Universality Olympic Qualifying Tournament where six teams will complete in Hungary from 4th June to 6th June. In Graz, Serbia, Russia, China, and Japan have already qualified but despite the absence of Dusan Bulut and his teammates, others would offer tough competition.

Nauris Miezis the No.1-ranked player in the world has a talented Latvian team on his side. USA has World Tour MVP Dominique Jones, Robbie Hummel, Kareem Maddox, and Canyon Barry to rely on. On the Women’s side, we would see Laetitia Guapo, Migna Touré, and Ana Maria Filip, the top three ranked women in the world in action. The main Tokyo competition is scheduled for 24th July to 28th so far eight teams have already qualified on the basis of their ranking.
