Fred Vanvleet scores season-high, leads Raptors to victory

The host Toronto Raptors beat the depleted New York Knicks 120-105 on Sunday afternoon, with Fred VanVleet scoring 19 of his 35 points in the third quarter. VanVleet scored more than 30 points for the second consecutive game, going 7-for-13 from 3-point range while also grabbing five boards and dishing out five assists. On Dec. 10 and 13, the Raptors won back-to-back games against New York and Sacramento, with Pascal Siakam scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds, OG Anunoby scoring 14, Scottie Barnes scoring 13, and Chris Boucher scoring 12. 

The Knicks finished their road trip with a 2-2 record thanks to Evan Fournier's 20 points. RJ Barrett and Obi Toppin both had 19 points, Quentin Grimes had 13 points, and Alec Burks had 11 points. This season, Toronto has won all three matches between the two clubs.
