Steph Curry shocks himself with the shots he took on the court to help secure the Warriors' 127-120 win over the Houston Rockets at Toyota Center on Sunday night. Curry, who was falling backward, threw up an off-balance 3-pointer to provide Golden State with a 126-117 lead over Houston with 34 seconds remaining. He went after the dagger shot with his liveliest "night night" celebration to date.
"That was just because I surprised myself with that shot," Curry responded to his surprise shot. In the victory over Houston, Thompson put up 41 points, four rebounds, and three assists on 14-of-23 shooting from the field and 10-of-13 shooting from distance. And in Golden State’s previous game against the New York Knicks, he had 20 points, three rebounds, and two assists on 8-of-16 shooting from the field and 4-of-10 shooting from deep.
