James Wiseman and Jonathan Kuminga stand out as the most talented players, particularly after the former missed the entire previous season. The latter's global debut wasn't particularly successful. They don't make up the majority of the group, though. A young core that should represent Golden State for many years to come is assembled by Jordan Poole, Moses Moody, and Patrick Baldwin Jr. Poole's future as a free agent next offseason is uncertain, but he still matters, particularly now that he's become one of the NBA's top guards who prioritise scoring.
Having said that, Sports Illustrated ranked the NBA's top young cores, with the Memphis Grizzlies topping the list and the Boston Celtics closely following. The Warriors were ranked fifteen. This rating isn't the most outrageous, but it does bring to light the possibility that many of these talents, most notably Wiseman, may have had their worth diminished during the past few seasons
