Grizzlies offer Jaren Jackson Jr. a multi-year contract

The Memphis Grizzlies reported that the group has signed a multi-year extension with forward/center Jaren Jackson Jr. While the complete terms of the arrangement were not unveiled. Jackson Jr. has shown up in 126 games, starting 117 of them in more than three seasons with the Grizzlies. The 22-year-old has averaged 15.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.52 blocks in 26.9 minutes.

The 2018-19 NBA All-Rookie First Team player has been a sensation in the squad, his ability to throw down threes has been lauded by many, he has made 213 3-pointers and 192 blocks in his first 126 career games and no other player in NBA history has even come close to the numbers. Joining in the 2018 NBA Draft, he has since climbed the ranks to be second in franchise history in blocks per game.
