Memphis Grizzlies overcame All-Star Ja Morant’s absence with Desmond Bane scoring 21 points, Jaren Jackson Jr. with his 19 points to beat Indiana Pacers 135-102 on Tuesday night. Morant sat out of the match with back irritation and De'Anthony Melton added 18 points for the side while the team went on to register the fourth back-to-back triumph for the Grizzlies.
On the other hand, the Pacers have lost two in succession and five of their last six games. Memphis shot 51% while holding Indiana to 42%. The Pacers were 6\30 from the 3-point range while the Grizzlies were 15\40. The Grizzlies overwhelmed all through, driving by upwards of 37 in the second from last quarter prior to agreeing to a 104-70 lead. Grizzlies would take on Atlanta next and hope to continue their winning run while Pacers would meet Houston on Friday.
