Grizzlies tie the playoff series against Timberwolves, 1-1

The Western Conference First Round playoffs between Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves at FedExForum just became even more interesting. Grizzlies took advantage of a struggling Timberwolves and never gave them a chance to come back throughout the match to tie the series at 1-1 with the 124-96 win. Anthony Edwards just had 20 points and six assists while Karl-Anthony Towns had just 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Timberwolves after the long first quarter scored just 17 points in the second quarter and they failed to take advantage of an injured Ja Morant who had to rest for a quarter and could score just 23 points, 10 assists, and nine rebounds. Grizzlies won the match because of their depth with the likes of Jaren Jackson Jr., Desmond Bane, Brandon Clark, Xavier Tillman, Ziaire Williams, and Tyus Jones in the squad to take on Timberwolves. Memphis got 49 points off the bench in total while the Timberwolves struggled to get going with their lineup.
