Trae Young scored 38 points and 5 assists to carry Atlanta Hawks to a 108-99 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers at the State Farm Arena. Without Kawhi Leonard and Paul George Clippers sank quickly despite being 13-5 so far in the league and are third on the Western Conference table ranking behind Jazz and reigning champions Lakers. Reggie Jackson added 20 points for the Clippers but Young was determined for a win with the help of De'Andre Hunter, Clint Capela and John Collins who had double-digit points for the night to carry Hawks to a win, who are 6th in the Eastern Conference table. Hawks were trailing behind in the first half but Young shot 12-of-23 from the field to add 26 points in the first half itself with an 11-of-11 from the free-throw line at the end of the match.
