The Atlanta Hawks' small forward De'Andre Hunter has been ruled out of the season for eight weeks straight after he picked up a tendon injury and would need to undergo surgery for it. The forward would soon go for the surgery on Monday in Los Angeles and would miss about two months of action this season.
Hunter suffered the injury during the Golden State Warriors match on 8th November and was then pulled out of the match against Utah, later he did return to the lineup for the Denver match but his right wrist soreness made it hard for him to play more than 21 minutes. This is his third season with Hawks and has averaged this season at 10.8 points and 2.7 rebounds on 45 percent shooting from the field through 11 matches.
