Kyle Kuzma’s an and-one layup when it was just 1 minute and 28 seconds left in the fourth quarter pulled the Los Angeles Lakers to within 94-92. Duncan Robinson hit his fifth foul on the play while Jimmy Butler missed a good opportunity from 10 feet out.

The Lakers got a chance to tie or take the lead with 1:04 left. However, Kuzma missed a 3-pointer. While the Heat tried to clock on their next possession, they ended up with Robinson fouling out on an elbow to the face of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. L.A had yet another chance. Wes Matthes missed an open book look for a 3. Since there were only 24 seconds left, it was obvious for the Lakers to foul. Butler made both free throws, putting Miami up four with just 12 seconds left.
