Charlotte Hornets gave away their last spot on the roster on Monday which closes the door for LiAngelo Ball who had hoped to play for Hornets this season. Hornets went on to sign a young forward Xavier Sneed this offseason after the team was impressed with his performance in last year’s preseason. Even in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas the 21-year old put on a show that left the coaching staff with no choice but to bring him on.
In the four games he played in the summer league he averaged 6.3 points, and 3.3 rebounds. With Sneed on the roster, the Hornets roster is now up to 20 players leaving no option for LiAngelo Ball. Sneed might be seen in action as Hornets take on Oklahoma City on 4th Oct. 4 and then take on Memphis as well at home three days later.
