Hornets failed at comeback lose to Thunder to end 0-2

Charlotte Hornets had already lost the opening match to Cleveland Cavaliers, they were looking to bounce back with a win against Oklahoma City Thunder. Despite the heroics from Miles Bridges in the fourth quarter, the team failed yet again to win. They were on fire in the first half LaMelo scored 13 points and looked like he might lead the team all the way through supported by Gordon Hayward and PJ Washington but the third quarter changed the momentum of the game being 23-16 down.

Thunder threaded up and continued that trend in the last quarter to ultimately win 109-107. Miles Bridges attempted to come back from behind to score 3 clutches in a row to carry them to a 107-107 tie but Shai Gilgeous-Alexander carried the game to Thunder’s side by scoring with 1.4 seconds on the clock.
