Charlotte Hornets handed a loss to New York Knicks on Wednesday with a 125-114 win. Miles Bridges was on fire in the last quarter scoring 14 of his 31 points and LaMelo Ball scored 20 points and 15 rebounds to lead the side to a win. Kelly Oubre Jr. assisted with 21 points on 8/11 shooting including four 3-pointers as Hornets won the eighth match of their last 11 games and improve their record to 40-37 and climb closer to the play-in spot in the Eastern Conference.
Hornets hopes to go further than the play-in stage this season after they lost to Indiana last season. Knicks on the other hand saw their four-game winning snapped even after Evan Fournier’s 30 points performance and RJ Barrett and Julius Randle scored 25 and 21 points respectively. Hornets take on 76ers next and Knicks would host Cavs on the same day.
