Houston rockets needs a different strategy against Los Angeles Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers seem to be in form this season and have a higher chance of progressing to the western conference finals by knocking off Houston Rockets. But Rockets would not give up that easily, they have a strong team but there are three things they need to focus on

They need to take more shots; while Rockets are known as an outside shooting team, but Lakers rely more on paint scoring, this is an opportunity for Rockets that they need to exploit, they have a better chance of scoring more if they shoot more.

Next, they need to unleash James Harden; Rocket’s offensive player Harden is going strong this season, Lakers have a disadvantage with the absence of Avery Bradley, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Danny Green would not be able to contain Harden and Russell Westbrook together.

The role of Robert Covington; It’s time to see his defensive side in action along with P.J. Tucker. Though it will require a team effort to stop James from scoring, Covington’s size and defensive ability could be effective against the player.
