Los Angeles Lakers have a big offseason ahead of them, with the hopes to get back on top in the next season after an injury-ridden season pulled them back from defending the trophy this year. They have the 22nd overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, though they need a higher pick to take their chance with Gonzaga’s Corey Kispert. The three and D prospect is on the hot list this season but as per projections he would go at 14-17 and Lakers need to work out a trade to land him in the draft.
The first trade could land them with Kemba Walker as well as the 16th Overall pick if Thunder is ready to part ways and they get Talen Horton-Tucker and 22nd pick in return and include Dennis Schroder as well as Kyle Kuzma. The second deal would be with Washington and Lakers get Russell Westbrook as well as the 15th Overall Pick and in return, Wizards get the same trade deal as Thunder.
