Los Angeles Lakers can no longer involve in a trade package for All-Star shooting guard Donovan Mitchell. However, they still plan to poach some others veterans from the Jazz. Recently, it is being said that the Lakers might see an involvement in a three-team Mitchell deal, so as to poach the veteran forte from both Utah and whichever third team would receive the three-time All-Star shooting guard. Although, the deal is no longer available on the table. So, this summer, Los Angeles Lakers have one less choice to offload Russell Westbrook's contract.
The Jazz sent off Mitchell to the Cleveland Cavaliers for a helfty amount of future draft picks and pick swaps, forward Lauri Markkanen, guard Collin Sexton, and lottery pick Ochai Agbaji. Moreover, Utah still holds numerous players that hold a lot of sway in L.A.'s front office.
