Indiana Pacers new coaching candidate-Chauncey Billups

Earlier this season we saw former All-Star point guard Steve Nash joining Brooklyn Nets as a coach with no NBA experience under the belt. Billups also has no NBA coaching experience but never left the NBA field, He currently works as a game analyst for ESPN.

Back in 2017, he was being considered for the GM role for the Cleveland Cavaliers but it didn't work out. Billups has helped in building the career of Kyle Lowry and Marcus Smart. And even enjoys the company of current players of pacers like Victor Oladipo and Malcolm Brogdon.

Billups will have his work cut out for him as Indiana roster has no free agents with no superstars on board but players who are in desperate need of a coach. Though Indiana is are also considering other fishes in the sea as well with Becky Hammon and  Mike D’Antoni for the position.
