Indiana Pacers were preparing for the new season in full swing after getting to terms that they would not have all the players due to injury, but the injury bug is not done with them just yet. Caris LeVert joins the injury list as well after the guard suffered a stress fracture in his back. The 27-year-old would miss some games for Pacers this season including the Charlotte Hornets’ match on 20th October.
The 6-foot-6 swingman was another key part of the four-team James Harden trade which saw the former Rockets player join the Brooklyn Nets last season. Last season as well LeVert was not available for full time as he underwent surgery to treat renal cell carcinoma thus making an appearance for 35 matches for Pacers. In the time he had, he still maintained a good average of 20.7 points, 4.9 assists, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.5 steals.
