Los Angeles Lakers’ head coach Frank Vogel shared there is no update on a timeline for the recovery of LeBron James and Anthony Davis from their respective injuries. James has stayed sidelined since 20th March because of a high ankle sprain while they were playing against Hawks. On average, his numbers are 25.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 7.9 assists.
While Davis has remained on the sidelines for a longer period of time ever since he picked up a calf strain on 14th Feb and certain reports suggested AD could be back with the team when they face Boston Celtics on Thursday but Vogel cleared things up by saying he still has a long way to go. He averaged 22.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 3.0 assists this season. Without their star forwards Lakers have remained fifth on the Western Conference table with a 32-20 scoreline and stay afloat with the help from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Kyle Kuzma, and Markieff Morris.
