Minnesota has been chasing Ben Simmons for a long time and has been doing so vehemently. While Philadelphia is not ready to let the player go they are demanding a Harden-like deal. The All-Star point-forward could thus be involved in a three-team deal that lands him in Minnesota. 76ers last season ended with a loss to Atlanta Hawks and Simmons did not help matters after he was unable to add points on the scoresheet. Thereafter it was a hard road for Simmons who was criticized publicly.
Timberwolves enjoy first-round picks until 2029 and they could also add D’Angelo Russell and Malik Beasley in the deal as well. For Sixers, though they would need to sell Shake Milton or Matisse Thybulle as well. Grizzlies could be the third team they are looking for and Patrick Beverly would be in Philadelphia then and if this trade works out we would see another big three with Simmons, Towns, and Anthony Edwards.
