Denver Nuggets received a huge injury blow after their point guard Jamal Murray is sidelined for the rest of the season with a torn ACL after he fell on the floor clutching his knees during the 116-107 loss to Golden State Warriors. Murray was at his best this season and had found stardom last season with his performance in Orlando during the playoffs. Murray proved that he was a great helping hand for Nikola Jokic and averaged 21.2 points, 4.8 assists and 1.3 steals per game but failed a few points short of qualifying for All-Star.
But unfortunately, the player would be unavailable for the rest of the season and leave Denver troubled as they are short on point guard now with just Monte Morris, Facundo Campazzo, Markus Howard, P.J. Dozier, and Shaquille Harrison and would lack the required depth going forward.
