Philadelphia 76ers’s James Harden will be missing the NBA All-Star Game which is set to take place on Feb. 20 because of his hamstring injury. Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen will be taking Harden’s place in the weekend match. The announcement was made by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver as Team LeBron was one player down for the 2022 All-Star match.
The 23-year-old now has five years of NBA experience under his belt but would be making his first All-star appearance for the team. Cleveland's Darius Garland would also be part of the same team alongside Allen who has averaged 16.2 points and 11.1 rebounds in 49 matches for the Cavs. Team LeBron and Team Durant would face off at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland.
