When Arturas Karnisovas was hired as the new executive vice president of basketball operations by Chicago Bulls, he had complete authority over basketball decisions. However, with recent developments with regards to the head Jim Boylen, its hard to assume if that’s actually the case. Despite an awful track record, Boylen continues to lead the Bulls and things are expected to continue with him as the coach. It is believed that Roylen will continue to be at where he is, considering the financial concerns that Reinsdorfs have. It appears that Karnisovas seem to have lost the authority he was once promised. It is clear that if he has to sell ownership on moving on from Boylen and hiring someone else, he doesn’t hold any actual power.
