Joel Embiid and Shake Milton go through a heated confrontation

With the Sixers dragging 35-29, the flashpoint saw its end of the first quarter. During the final play period, a wayward pass was thrown by Milton to the Embiid who had been stationed at the free-throw line. The pass had been inaccurate and eventually landed over Embiid towards the sideline with a 7ft center. In an effort to keep the ball within bounds, Embiid and Pacers guard Edmond Summer collided. This made Embiid fall heavily to the ground. This led to an exchange of words between Milton and Embiid. Milton had to be stopped by several 76ers reserves from continuing the argument. The Sixers lost the game with 127-21. Post the defeat, Embiid downplayed his interaction with Milton saying that its basketball where everyone makes mistakes. It happens and the team must move beyond it.
