Making his presence known on the floor Joel Embiid returned to the lineup of Philadelphia 76ers after a long absence to dominate the match. Pushing the match into two overtimes both the teams went head to head but Minnesota Timberwolves triumphed in the end despite the 42 points effort by Embiid. At Wells Fargo Center, Philly fans cheered loudly for Embiid in his return who stayed aggressive on the floor and contributed 14 rebounds, three assists, two blocks as well in the 45 minutes he played for the player in the double-overtime match.
Sixers are currently 10-10 on the season and are a spot away from the play in a stage in the Eastern Conference going 2-8 in their last 10 games, they would now take on Orlando Magic next and hopefully, return with a win.
