Kawhi Leonard and Jaylen Brown have been named the NBA Players of the Week

Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers and Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics were named NBA Players of the Week for their respective conferences. Leonard powered Los Angeles to three victories with monstrous statistics, averaging an astonishing 41.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 2.7 steals. His week peaked with a career-high 55-point explosion against the Pistons. Meanwhile, in the East, Brown guided Boston to an impressive 2-1 record, averaging 32.7 points on 55.9 percent shooting.

The other standout Western Conference nominees also included Kevin Durant of the Rockets, Keyonte George of the Jazz, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Thunder, and Nikola Jokic of the Nuggets. The remaining Eastern candidates featured LaMelo Ball (Hornets), Scottie Barnes (Raptors), Cade Cunningham (Pistons), Josh Giddey (Bulls), Michael Porter Jr. (Nets), and finally Karl-Anthony Towns (Knicks).
