Leonard powered Los Angeles to three victories with monstrous statistics, averaging an astonishing 41.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 2.7 steals. His week peaked with a career-high 55-point explosion against the Pistons. Meanwhile, in the East, Brown guided Boston to an impressive 2-1 record, averaging 32.7 points on 55.9 percent shooting.

The other standout Western Conference nominees also included Kevin Durant of the Rockets, Keyonte George of the Jazz, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Thunder, and Nikola Jokic of the Nuggets.
