Kawhi Leonard plays for the Los Angeles Clippers as a forward. He injured his right knee during the Western Conference semifinals, Game 4. Due to the injury, he was unable to play the semi-finals Games 5 and 6. Leonard failed to appear in the finals against the Phoenix Suns, which the Clippers ultimately lost.
Leonard’s surgery on a partially torn ACL, in his right knee, went successful. However, his return is not yet finalized. He signed a three-year contract with Los Angeles Clippers in 2019, which allows him to be a part of the team for another season. Before his injury, Leonard’s average score per game was over 30-points. As per rumors now, Leonard may extend his contract with the Los Angeles Clippers for four years for $181.5 million, beginning in 2022-23.
