Keegan Murray officially stands atop the NBA's rookie 3-point mountaintop

Five years after Mitchell concluded the NBA season of 2017–18 with 187 points, the three-pointer brought the rookie forward for the Kings' squad to 188 points overall for 2022–23. Murray will also have six more regular-season games left to play, and he might make history by becoming the first rookie to make 200 3-pointers in a season. Mike Brown, the coach of the Kings, was questioned about the significance of the record that Murray is set to break before Monday's game.

"I'm thrilled, "Brown informed the press. "You know, like I mentioned before, you know, an attempt to beat that record should mean something to everybody. It's a fantastic record to break, you know. The current owner is undoubtedly a fantastic athlete who will go into the Hall of Fame.
