Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Net beat The Washington Wizards

The Washington Wizards were defeated by Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets. They started up their 2020-21 campaign ineptly. It began with a 119-114 preseason loss. 

 The shorthanded Washington Wizards faced a herculean task on Sunday evening.  It was to guard  Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. Bradley Beal, Russell Westbrook, and Davis Bertans were not active for the preseason opener in Brooklyn.  The Nets’ duo entertained on the Wizards early. In the first quarter of action, they amalgamated for 23 points on 8/9 in the shooting.

The Nets stifled Washington with a  high-percentage look from Irving and Durant. And that too with the Wizards’ offense struggling in the first half. They managed to score only 50 points. In the third quarter, the Wizards found a pulse And, that also despite an 18 point deficit at halftime.
