Many teams have expressed interest in the player this summer and the Cavaliers will try to offload Kevin Love soon. Philadelphia 76ers have also expressed interest in the player but no trade request has been made. The potential list of suitors includes New Orleans Pelicans, Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, and the Portland Trail Blazers and the five-time All-Star is also reportedly ready to move away from Cavaliers.
Love’s current contract sees him at Cleveland for the next two seasons and would receive $31.2 million this year and $28.9 million in 2022. Love could only appear in 25 games last season and averaged just 12.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 24.9 minutes on the floor. The Cavs are yet to receive a sizable contribution by the 32-year-old center-forward.
